In February 2006, after winning the bid to run the duty free operations Aldeasa and its local partner That Es-Salasil, opened the duty free shops at Kuwait International Airport.
Aldeasa, a Spanish airport retailing company was founded in 1974. In March 2008 Autogrill acquired the entire equity of Aldeasa, which resulted in the creation of a large airport retail group, including World Duty Free, Alpha Retail and Aldeasa. Currently Autogrill is the world ´s biggest provider of food & beverage and retail services for travellers.
Located in the transit area on the departure level Aldeasa That ES Salasil Duty free brings to Kuwait a variety of branded tax- free products.
With the expansion and refurbishment of the stores finished. The shop has been arranged in four different outlets.
The Shop”:offers a wide variety of traditional Duty Free products (food stuff, souvenirs, tobacco…etc.).
Beauty Shop” with top branded perfumes and cosmetics products and “Les Boutiques” An area for luxury brands with specialised corners for each one of these like Cartier, Omega, Chopard and Mont Blanc, among others.
Electronic shop: providing the latest revolutionary electronic gadgets, cell phones, cameras etc
Gold Shop: having an enticing collection of pure gold jewellery.
